On April 18, 2025, the kick-off meeting and implementation plan demonstration meeting of the national key R&D program "High-performance Manufacturing Technology and Major Equipment" key project "Plasma High Energy Beam Composite Surface Treatment Process and Equipment" was successfully held at the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
This meeting brought together many authoritative organizations and industry leaders. Several unit leaders attended to provide guidance; industry experts such as Zhao Yanhua and Li Xiaohu were present to ensure the project's success. Led by the Ningbo Institute of Materials, eight units with extensive research in materials and equipment, including Weidouli Valves Co., Ltd., were invited to attend the meeting.
The meeting focused on the plasma high energy beam composite surface treatment process and equipment. Attendees discussed the technical support for national strategic industries, jointly planning industrial future and key technological breakthroughs.
During the meeting, Project Leader Researcher Wang Yongxin reported on the core contents such as the project's technical route. Task leader detailed the implementation plan, and experts provided constructive opinions, stressing team collaboration. The implementation plan was unanimously approved.
